The Brown HillBrownhill
Cuts through the sandstone that gave it its name and includes Ruyton's unique War Memorial which was cut into the stone to form a cave and contains within, a plaque listing the names of The Fallen of the two World Wars.

Society meetings and talks are held in the Victoria Room, Post Code: SY4 1LQ, which has recently been re-modelled and equiped so as to provide 21st century facilities. The building
is situated on a triangle of land, at the junction where the Little Ness road joins the B4397 - opposite the Church lychgate.

Below is a screen panel which is Google Earth. If you have not used Googe Earth before,
download the Plug in. When you have done this, or already have it, click on 'Sat' in the top
right. This provides a closeup ariel view of the Victoria Room. Clicking on the minus symbol, which appears on the left, provides orientation.

Clicking on the 'Map' option, which appears top right, presents you with a road map of
the area.
